I just got these stickers.
I have not used the bird deterrent stickers yet, but they look good.
The window stickers are as described, thin, sticky back vinyl, 3″ diameter. They came in a sturdy professional zip top package.
The sparkly disks are easy to take off the backing. They don’t seem to be very transparent. They have to go on the outside of the windows. My windows fold in so they will be easy to apply.
I got this option that gives the most stickers for the cost so I can replace stickers that blow or wash off.
I had to do something.
I planted nice dense shrubs on the north side of my little home where urban wildlife finds shelter. I planted things that produce small fruit. I have bird feeders on the deck. I love to watch the birds and squirrels, my pandemic companions. I even let wild milkweed ramble for the butterflies.
Two days ago I pulled back my living room winter curtains to welcome the new Spring…..And…
WHAM!…WHAM!
Two birds immediarely hit my front windows.
I don’t even have big or many windows. And they are not sparkly clean.
Unintended consequences. Something else to feel guilty about. My efforts brought harm.
So I will apply these stickers to my windows.
I will write an update when I find out how well they work.
I hope it wasn’t “my” Carolina Wren.
UPDATE:
The other person who lives here says these stickers make the house look like a domino, or dice. He wants me to get the translucent stickers. He is concerned about what passers by might think.
We don’t have an HOA, so…
On the other hand, I think I saw a grackle take a hard right turn in front of the problem window.

These really work! My doves return every year and without fail, they get mixed up and fly into my windows. I tried these and they really work. The price is great; there are plenty of them. Plus, they look rather nice. With such a deal, you should try them! My neighbors have and all agree.

We have quite a few bird feeders in our backyard as well as an assortment of birds that visit them. We have a lot of mourning doves which aren’t necessarily the brightest birds you can have and they would frequently fly into the sliding glass doors. Of course we’re feeding the birds and we don’t want to hurt the birds in the process. I saw these on Amazon and went ahead and picked them up… it was 100 stickers for a really good price. We put them on our sliding glass door and so far so good. We’ve gone from one to two collisions a day to only two within the last 3 weeks. You get used to the stickers; I don’t even really notice them on there when I look out the window anymore and they do seem to be helping the birds avoid the glass.

Although I have not had any strikes, these are not the most attractive stickers to put on your windows. I have them on my back sliders only. I prefer the more transparent, shaped decals that look like etched or frosted glass.

They work. We have large windows overlooking a lake and since installation no birds have hit the widows. Just the right amount of visible noise and certain the right price.

If you¡¯ve ever heard the dreaded sound of a bird hitting the window only to find an injured or dead bird, you want to do anything to make sure it doesn¡¯t happen again 🙁 These are a great solution!! I have had many collisions before finding these. Since applying to windows this summer, there¡¯s been NO issues with birds flying into the windows! Added bonus is that I¡¯ve even been able to share them with neighbor because so many come in a pack and have plenty left for future summers.

They’ve completely stopped the bird strikes to our sunroom. They’re hard to remove without damaging so they will remain on the windows year round.
